I have a 1950 C-model IH Farmall. I just recently purchased it. The hydrolics have started giving me some trouble. Real slow response. The previous owner said that he changed all fluids just prior to my purchase. He told me that he used plain hydrolic fluid. There is now a need for additional fluid. I called the Case IH dealer and the parts person told me that hydrolic fluid is wrong. He said (the parts guy) that I need "Hy Trans Fluid". I ask if it was the same a hydrolic fluid and he said no. Now the "hydrolic fluid" that was previously full is now disappeared, but I can see no visiable leaks. Where did it go? Should I add this expensive Hy Trans fluid and see what happens or do I have another problem? I have ordered a service manuel but I have not received it as of yet. Can any one offer help? Thanks John
