Ok, either way, its all gonna cost about the same for the kits. Go with a Super H-300 sleeve and piston kit. it is the 3-9/16 bore kit. and the bigger displace ment over the original super H cubic inch. this sleeve kit will go into your H block, all it really is,,,, a bored out H sleeve and piston kit. will make you a good 39-42 HP with the small carb, old cyl head, and H cam. Now,, I do belive you have a 3-7/16 bore size!! Gentleman,, that was the IH overbore kit for the H, and standard equipment for the first Super H's!! your H at some point, has had a rebuild, and this kit installed. so really, you have 164 cubic inches, not 152. Now,, there is a kit for the Super H, that was the overbore that is 3-1/2, which was not listed in the IH books as a standard displacement option from the factory, you could order it, and have it installed. 3-1/2 was not the factory bore for the Super H, it was 3-7/16. All before 1953! the cubic in listings are C152, (3-3/8bore) C-164 (3-7/16 bore) C-169 (3-9/16bore) and the C-175 (3-5/8bore) Notice, one is missing,,, the 3.5 bore kit,,,, because, that was the overbore kit option. Hope this helps. if you need some specs, email me,, would be happy to give info on what you need. ChadS

At one time I had seven restored examples which were shown and used in ploughing matches. As most restorers, I have a number of war stories I can relate on a range of topics that may help other like minded and interested people. Perhaps my first p
