i don't feel turning is a problem. i have a 3588. it will turn shorter than my 1086. the 2+2 will float and go (and steer) much easier in not-as-ideal conditions. one drawback to a 15xx is the 3 gear selections vs 4 speeds in the 3588. that may not be an issue in tillage but certainly could be with harvesting. keep the hinge joints greased on any 2+2. hth.
