Hello all, I have had 2,3,4,5,6 and 8 cylinder diesels. I must say though I am partial to 6 bangers. I finally got my 460 home and yes it looks like a tractor that has spent most of its life outside. I got it to farm with so I am not too concerned about how it looks. The motor was rebuilt 200 (?) hours ago. Starts and runs okay, TA seems fine....Here are some questions 1) Valve lash? Hot or cold? 2) Can I get in and set valves with the fuel tank on, or do I need to remove it? 3) It has a weak injector, starts on 5 but warms up and runs on 6, could that injector cause the knocking pinging noise that it makes only at idle no load? 4) Brakes are weak and fully adjusted in but still have low pedal...what do I need to fix this? 5) How can I get the most life out of my TA ? 6)Is there a drawbar hitch that fits underneath, but not to my fasthitch? 7)This is a WFE tractor without the tires loaded, roughly what does it weigh? 8) Any tricks to swapping out the water pump? 9) Where can I find a wirring diagram? thanks all,
john
