Hello all; I'm restoring a 1948 Long Model A tractor for the company that I work for (Long Agribusiness). It has a seat on it that is identical to the farmall H seat, with the short shock absorber and coil spring and everything. Unfortunately, the seat pan has a crack in it and rather than weld it up and sand blast it, i'm thinking of just replacing it with a new one (and saving the old one to work on later, of course). My question is this: The pan that is on it is a smooth (unupholstered) steel pan, painted red, with 5 holes in it. Also, it appears that there are only TWO bolts attaching the pan to the seat assembly itself. All I can find as replacements are upholstered seats with canvas cushions and they are only listed as having a 4 bolt or rail style mounting option. What does this 2 bolt pattern classify as? Does anyone know if the unupholstered seat pans are being reproduced? I couldn't really seem to locate anything on this in the archives. Thanks! Jeb
