Jerry: Assuming a 240 Utility's hitch is similar to a 460's, it sure sounds like the feedback linkage from the hitch lift cylinder to the Tel-A-Depth control is not adjusted properly. A manual will give you fairly complete instructions on how to perform the adjustment. Basically it consists of raising the hitch to a certain height and adjusting the linkage in or out to obtain the sweet spot where the hitch doesn't hunt up and down. This process is repeated with the hitch in a lowered position. You've had some ongoing problems with the 240's system, and it appears you have made some progress. Would you give us some feedback on resolving some of the problems?
