Yes, it's just one more of the several companies making hydraulic parts. You need an open center (as opposed to closed), two-way (as opposed to one-way) valve to control your hitch. If it's a single spool valve, it should have 2 work ports (usually 1/2" NPT) that go to the cylinder, and an inlet and outlet (usually 3/4" NPT) for your pressure and return lines. Basically any valve should have the inlet and outlet ports, then 2 work ports for each spool. If the seller doesn't know for sure, try to look up the model number online. It'll take someone smarter than me to tell you how to ID it by sight; as far as I can tell, valves use the same outer casting but can be configured multiple ways with internal parts and port blocks. It should be two-way like I mentioned (two hoses). I think the original cyl was 2 1/2 x 8. I've used generic 3" x 8" cylinders, and even used a 3 x 10 for a little more range on one tractor that worked great; but be carefull with that one as it's possible to break off the upper connection on the cyl when the hitch is angled and you lift it all the way up. Don't ask how I know that ;) Stan(VA).

At one time I had seven restored examples which were shown and used in ploughing matches. As most restorers, I have a number of war stories I can relate on a range of topics that may help other like minded and interested people. Perhaps my first p
