Well after a few hours and $178 in parts the 454 is up and running again! Running better now than when parked back in 2000. The only problem I have is I have to run with the choke partially on inorder for it to run. Open the choke completly and it dies, choke if off a bit and it'll run great. Any ideas? All I've done running wise is rebuild the carburator and replace the electric shut off selonid. The points look ok, same with the cap and rotor. The plugs and wires are so so. A full tune up is coming. Thanks!
