I have a 706 gas that I use to unroll hay to my cows. I unroll 10 bales every other day, lots of backing up and shifting. I agree with the other posters if you keep them in ajustment and don't get mad and force them they work great. Also when you are moveing out of a gear you can bump out the clutch slightly this gives a torgue release and allows you to shift much easier. After you drive them awhile you get the feel of them and can shift as fast as a 56 series tractor.
