I can't seem to get any answers from the guys over on the Oliver forum. You guys are the best ever since I started coming here - just like family! Anyway - it's either this or the Allis 190 I asked about in the earlier post. This Ollie is BIG - I think it's either 1650 or 1655 industrial platform w/ the hoe. All real solid, good shape. Guy says he was running it on a real cold day when oil pressure just stopped. This is a diesel. He shut it down and left it right where it was and wants $4500 for it. Can't remember if it's the torque-drive or standard gear drive, but good tires, everything works, just the oil problem. Could be just the gauge or line to the gauge, condensation being frozen and plugging something up, or something worse. An engine rebuild doesn't bother me much, been there done that but was mostly wondering if any of you guys have any experience with these machines and any opinions at all. Never run an Oliver before. I've looked at the Oliver forum archives for info and them guys say they're rugged to beat all heck. Course they're probly just a wee bit biased. Thanks a bunch fellas!
