Last post - I asked if the Hoods off of a C will fit (interchangable) on a Super A. General result is that a C hood is 1 1/16 inch longer, (As measured by Chad at OEM tractor parts as suggested by gracious responder). So where does the extra length fit, in front, in middle or at rear. Same motor. The next question is, are the grills interchangable? I'm aware of the height differences 'tween a Super C, Super A-1 and the Super A,(due to the larger radiator and water pump, but will a regular C grill interchange with a Super A grill? See, the thing is I'm redoing a '50 Super A, and I had bought a '50 C for a parts tractor. The C had much nicer grill and hood, I swapped the Super A hood and grill with the C hood and Grill. Then I sold the C with the Super A grill and hood, disassembled which went with it. Will the C grill work OK on the Super A or have I outsmarted myself, just like the hood? Incidently, ended up buying the new hood from OEM. Got a real nice C hood if'n your interested. Can't win for loosin....
