I have searched and searched for a precleaner for my super c and unless I wan't to pay more than a hundred bucks for a jar type It ain't gona happen. So I came up with another idea. I found a K&N filter part no. RU-0360 that fit the stack on my super c perfectly and has a couple inches clearance to the muffler. I took a quart size folgers can and removed the label then primed and painted it to match the tractor and just put it over the top of the filter. It actualy looks like it could have been a factory thing on there so I guess I am happy. It sure does work though. I spent a small fortune on my engine when I overhauled it since it has firecrators and they were shot. I replaced almost everything with new factory parts. Needless to say I don't want to dust my engine and here in west texas that is a major concern! Now I don't get near as much junk in the oil bath as I once did , actualy hardly anything makes it there. It works so I thought I would pass it along.
