Mike, The Schwartz is an aftermarket kit. I don't think you could get anything but the one for an M to fit an M. The on again / off again thing with the ease of steering sounds like a hydraulic problem, or valve adjustment. The occasional pop sounds like a worn king pin or tie rod end. You'd need someone standing close to while it popped to easily isolate the source. Next question is if the power steering is also aftermarket, like M&W, then maybe someone could help with adjustments / pointers.
