W6 HUH! IN THE 1940 ERA THERE WAS A W-6 TRACTOR ON STEEL WHEELS (RUBBER GOING TO WIN WWII). LIKE OTHERS HAVE SAID THIS MAY HAVE BEEN AN EARLY MODEL T6 DOZER. MIGHT BE WORTH 5000 IF IT WAS IN DECENT SHAPE AND IT MET YOUR NEEDS. THE TD6 APPEARING IN AND AROUND 1953 WITH A DIESEL ENGINE WAS A VERY DESIRABLE TRACTION EARTH MOVING BEAST. IHC HAS A FULL RANGE (DARN NEAR AN ENCYCLOPEDIA) OF ALL TRACTORS, DOZERS, IMPLEMENTS AND EQUIPMENT IN BOOK FORM ACROSS THE LARGEST SPAN OF YEARS THAT THEY MANUFACTURED ALL THESE WONDERFUL GIZMOS. YOU COULD ASK THE BARNES AND NOBLES STAFF TO DO A BOOK SEARCH UNDER INTERNATIONAL HARVESTOR COMPANY. I AM SURE THIS VOLUME IS OUT OF PRINT AND I ONLY KNOW OF ONE PRIVATE COPY IN ROCHESTER, NH. IF SOMEONE DOESN'T SOLVE YOUR PUZZLE LET ME KNOW AND I WILL BUG THE ELDERLY GENTLEMAN TO SCOPE OUT THIS W-6/T6 MYSTERY.
