Paul, I hear ya on the 400. Why GM ever discontinued that engine is beyond me...what a puller! I have somewhat the twin sister to your old truck. It is now on it's 8th motor, 5th trany, 2nd transfer case and 3rd set of differentials. It has upwards of 600,000 miles on it and will be going in for it's third paint job at the end of this year. At present, it is all '95 running gear, but I still miss the torque of that old 400; a definite 50 hp increase. Later, Allan
