Cub ain't runnin right??

I am new to the Cub, and am in the process of tarin' into it. It doesn't want to run very good, at idle if you set the carb, o.k., but when you rev it up, or load it, it sputters out, and you need to choke about half, but if you set the carb at fast idle, then as soon as you idle back, she sputters out, and dies... any ideas...-Scoob
