I just wanted to thank everyone who's taken the time to answer all of the questions on this forum. I learned more about tractors here than I ever imagined I would. Anytime I need to find something out, a quick stroll through the archives turned up the information I was looking for. Sadly, my love affair with my 1950 C came to an end this weekend when I finally sold her. It was my first tractor, and the fellow who bought her hauled her away yesterday while I was at work. I feel as if I've betrayed an old friend, or run over my own dog by mistake. I didn't think I'd get that attached to the old girl. I've never been attached to any piece of machinery in my life before... Anyway, thanks again to all. It'll be sometime before I get another tractor. Maybe in twenty years when the kids are grown, and I have a little money, I can find my old tractor again & buy her back.
