We were deer hunting in a group of about 10 people on land we had hunted for years. At this particular point in the drive we were even on the land of one of the guys in our group. A pheasant hunter had the nerve to follow one of our guys to his stand and shoot at a pheasant along to way. I was about a half a mile away, and I could hear the pheasant hunter getting the chewing of his life. It takes all kinds. Had a couple neighbor kids put traps on our land and caught my rat terrior in one of them when were out combining. Lucky we noticed him along the fence. The traps didn't have tags or anything, but one of the boys asked for his trap back from my sister at school. He was told he would have to come and get it. He never did, but we caught him and his brother checking their traps on our land a few days latter. They told us they thought it was another neighbors land. How did they know to ask for the trap from us? Just goes to show you, even your neighbors can be jerks.
