Farmall Regular Brake Question...

I have seen that early Regulars come with just a dust cover over the top of the brake drums, while later one come with the F-20-style full covers. When did the change happen? I have a 1929 Regular with the full covers, but I suspect that the drop gear boxes may be from an F-20. I have seen '29s and '30s with the half covers. Any ideas? Thanks.
