Hydraulic Pressure H vs 300

What type of hydraulic pressure (psi ?) do you get out of an "H" lift all vs a "300" hydraulic system? Just bought the "300" and connected it to a (1) hose cylinder with an implement attached and blew oil out the relief hole. It's an old aftermarket cylinder, which seem to work fine on the "H". Does the "300" have to much oil pressure for it?
