I was looking at some old original Farmall 350 and 450 brochures and noticed an unusual part on the Fast Hitch in some of the photos. I was wondering if anyone might know what it is and what it was used for. The unusual part looks like the shape of an oil dip stick and is shown to be going threw the end of the upper large mounting pin of the hyraulic lift cylinder that attaches it to the upper main lift arm. It is hard to make this part out precisely when looking at the brochures, But it kind of looks like this oil dip stick looking part is about 8" to 12" long and appears to have maybe threads or a spring on it (not sure though). I was just wondering if any one knows what it is and what was it used for. Thanks, Ray in Pa.
