getting ready to adjust the valves on our 1940 farmall A. We did some work to it and since I have the valve cover off to put a new gasket in I thought I would adjust the valves. On my cubs and my Dads H's there is a top dead center pointer and a mark on the crank pulley. Is there anywhere on the engine that tells you when the engine is top dead center? I rolled it over with number one plug out till I had compression then watched to make sure both valves where closed and I heard the mag trip. Is this all I need to assure it is top dead center? Also what is the valve clearence for a cold "A" Engine? thanks for the help Chad
