I recently purchased a salvage IH Remote Control valve, along with the control rod etc. that mounts beside the standard Lift-All control rod. It looked as if it was a factory setup on an H but most of the pipe was missing where the bybass fits into the filler hole below the gas tank. I got pictures from the H parts book and tried to duplicate the fittings ie. nipples union, and elbow. When I try to put this on my '51 H the mounting interfers with the Lift All control rod. Is the Lift All control rod suppose to be on the inside or the outside of the Remote Control valve. It looks like it is possible that if all pipes are of the correct length that maybe the rod fits right above the Remote Control valve. Does anyone out there have an original setup that can help me?
