To all that helped me out on timming and compression and other odds and ends. My dad and I got the engine for the H all back together and we got it running. There is great compression and after running it for a while I can not move the crank pulley by hand any more. After we messed with the distributor for a few hours trying to get it in the right spot it fired right up and now it runs with one crank of the engine. I think that was a $150 well spent for that used engine that we didn't know would run. We saved another farmall. Now we just need a carb for it so we can put this one back on the other fixed up H. thanks again and it feels great to have it going after all these years! If you look at the pics the rusty H is the one we got fired up this weekend. Chad
