I know absolutly nothing about these so bear with me.Thing runs great, couldnt ask for a better runnign engine.THe guy I bought it from has taken out the clutch for the belly mower and installed a piece of pipe or something so that it is like "straight wired" to the pto.Problem is the engine will not turn over with the starter and has to be pulled off.At first I thought the bayyery was just dead but it isnt and this "pipe deal" isnt going to cut it.I havent tore into things to see exactly what he did,it started pouring down rain when I got it home! But the wqhole clutch unit he replacd wit hthe pipe is gone and he cant find what he did with it,probably threw it away.SOOOOOOOOOOOOO....... anybody know of a good salvage yard that may have what I need or could I do as he suggested and find an electric type clutch to put in its place?Again,I dont know nothing about these...... YET!Manuual is on the way,BTW.
