Bob M, light dimming coil.

Bob, I changed my cub to 12v as per your excellent diagram. Now that I installed my 12v lights the dimmer coil behind the light switch glows bright red while in the dimming position. I have never had lights before so I don't know if this is correct. I like the dimmed lights but I think I have to change the coil for a modern resistor but I don't know what size. Thank you, Bob
