The resent snow fall we got here in Maryland (central Md.)reminded me of the snow blower my grand father had on the front of a 400d that he had on Sagamore farm, that he ran for Mr.A.G.Vanderbuilt.This snow blower mounted on the front of the tractor ,but was powered off the pto on the rear of the tractor, it had a pto shaft that ran the lenght of the tractor, It was one wicked piece of equipment.I do know that it had shear pins I believe at the gear box at the blower, and it could throw snow quite some distance,it also could throw a cement block once it chewed it up even further.Has any one besides my family ever run across a snow blower like this, merry christmas and a happy new year
