jimbo: When you say tighter, how are you determining tightness? I had an injection pump put back on and they did NOT time it right(too slow). It had less power and smoker easier. I was wondering if it's related to something like that or have you checked befor and after with a handcrank? Slower starter now or just the way it runs?? If timing is advanced too far it could cause hesitation in cranking making it seem "tight". That too far advance might cause extra blowby? G.
