After posting about my problem earlier (further down the board) I have done a couple of things, none of which did any good. Then on the suggestion of a previous post I grounded the field terminal (on the regulator) while the engine was running and the ammeter went right off the scale on the charge side. I then opened up my regulator and the flapper bit on the top coil (please excuse the rather poor description) was moving back and forth at the same rate as the ammeter needle. I am still getting just about six volts over the battery terminals running at full throttle. Any further comments or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. SAm in NS
