I guess the average farmer of the 1950's was lighter than 285#. Is there any adjustments that can be made to the spring or shock absorber. I read in past posts that they are about $40 and can not be replaced by any other shock. I want to save as much as possible but don't want it to be dangerous when I give my little daughter rides. Thanks -- Martin
