I am having trouble with the 450 D that I just got on a trade, the steering was tore apart to install the new head ,I didnt tear it down so I am not sure how it goes back together, I put the worm gear shaft back in and hooked the PS unit to that then hooked it to the steering wheel shaft,,but I cant turn the wheels,, I tore it all apart raised the front off the gound and can turn the wheels easily, put the worm gear shaft in again and cant turn it,, there is a bearing on the end of the shaft just beyond the worm and it seems ok. should there be something on the other side of the worm? also when i loosened the nut holding the flat steering gear in place I noticed the shaft it sits on dropped down some,,should this happen? Where can I get a service manual for this tractor???thanks,,,JIm
