I have come on to a farmall 706 lpg with a six cyl. block, should be a 263 but this block does not have the cu. in. or a casting number stamped by the dist. in the usual spot. It does have a casting number located on the left side at the rear of the engine(my 560 lpg does not have this, nor have I ever seen it on any other engine). I was told this could be a "parts block" by an old IH mechanic. Does anyone else have any ideas.
