still wiring trouble on my H

i thought my light switch was the problem but it is not. with everyones help i believe it is wired correctly, however with my light switch on the off position my ammeter reads 3/4 towards the charge side, as soon as i turn my light switch to the on position the ammeter needle goes right to d (discharge). also with my tractor turned off hours later my switch knob is very hot so i unhooked my negative battery cable. i just can't figure out what i'm doing wrong. my H is running very good! HELP!!! thanks dave
