Howdy all... Put my busted M back together tonight out at my dad's house....I didn't take my I&T manual out there (ouch). Lined up the camshaft gear with the crankshaft gear with the marks aligned as follows.... The double punch on the crankshaft with the double punch on the cam gear. Is that right or wrong? I got home and after we put the front cover back on I decided to read on the installation. I didn't notice a single punch mark on the crank gear. I did notice a letter D stamped on the crank gear...But the manual says the single punch on cam gear should mesh with single punch on crankshaft gear. Someone help me and tell me if I need to look harder for the single punch mark or what the double mark is for. I appreciate all replies, thanks for any input. Jared Jeffries PS: A special thanks to Bman for the parts to fix the ol M up....I've got a plow day and tractor show coming up....I hope everyone comes out to the plow day and tractor show...
