The mechanic I had working on my I-544 said that I presently have some sorta resistance wire for the spark plugs (12 V system). He said that most new spark plug wires are like this (mostly for automoblie) and have some sorta silicon core instead of a solid piece of copper going thru the middle. I would like to know what is the name of spark plug wire he recommended with the copper core and where they are avalable? One more thing, my tractor was missing really bad and the mechanic would pull the sparkplug wire out slightly and the missing would go away. He said this was due to making an air gap that increased the resistance of the circuit (air hard to conduct electicity thru).
