Dan, Should be no problem if the soil is not real wet, super hard, or super heavy. I have a 49 C and pull a #8 Little Genius 2-14. I also have 3 sets of rear wheel weights and 1 set of front wheel weights mounted when I plow. If the shares are good and sharp and the moldboards are not rusty you will have an easy time. I do sometimes have to drop down into 1st if it is wet or hard. But when it is dry and I am not plowing more that 4-5", I can run up in 3rd. Hope this helps. Plowing is quite fun.
