still searching for serial #

Ok. I have a farmall 200. I have looked all other and found many part #'s but no serial #. The only # I have found small enough to be the serial is on a small plate about 2 - 3" long and 3/8" wide under the clutch pedal where you foot would rest. it has a screw holding it on, a 7, a screw, a 5 space "A", and finally a screw. I don't think this is it. Can anyone tell me where the serial number should be and what size "Plate" is it on (i thought I read that they where on a metal plate) so I will know what to be looking for. I am just trying to figure out the year this old jewel was made. Thanks!
