Only worked on it about 3 hours yesterday - most of it after 8pm too. Got up at 5 this morning and buttoned everything up - installed sediment bowl and fuel line, checked for leaks from the water I put in last night, etc. Pushed it out of the garage, set throttle to about 1/4, hit the switch and it started like it was shut off yesterday!! A little smoke from the oil on top of the pistons, but that cleared up instantly. Pulled the drag around the yard for a while too, pulls good. Already have 1 hour on it! Feels good to hear it run! Steven Here is a couple close up pics of those rocker arms that had to be raised up to allow clearance. They are a little bit off center, but I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.
Here is the rocker arm all the way up, valve closed.
Rocker arm down, valve open.
