Your story was great. My memories go back a few years further, and my dad used an old John Deere, I think it was a B. I loved our neighbors Farmall M and would take every opportunity to drive it. I wanted one so bad, now 50+ years later I own one, as a toy. I also have a 17 year old who wants nothing to do with an old piece of junk, can you imagine referring to a beautiful old tractor as 'junk'. My dad too has long left the scene, but I like to think he would not have a lot to say about my 'big red M' and trading it for a 'little green B'. Just sharin' a thought.
