We recently got a Farmall A with a wide front end -- we set it up with the wheels at 68 inches since we will have everything planted in 34" rows. How can I set up the A to work? The cultivator rig that came with it is an A-138 cultivator with a pneumatic Lift Off. It seem to be a 1 row cultivator, and it would appear that the only way I can set it up is on the centerline -- halfway between the wheels, 34 inches from each wheel. That puts the wheels in the adjoining rows -- not the best idea in the world. How can I set it up so it can straddle 2 rows -- even if I only cultivate 1 at a time. How do I get it to center 17 inches from the wheel? Is there something we're missing?
