One of the tractors that I aquired is a 1936 F-12. The serial number plate indicates this. However it had F-14 stickers on the gas tank. When I got into the engine it looked like someone had done a valve job on the engine. Some of the valves were swapped around ( intake to exhaust ). This engine also has domed pistons. All of the F-12's that I have been into have flat topped pistons. I wonder if this tractor is one of those that went into the shop an F-12 and came out an F-14? Can someone tell me if the F-14 had domed pistons. I have heard that some of the dealerships would upgrade your tractor to an F-14 when you took it in for repairs.
