The TA on my 460 is out on the low side so I'm pretty sure that the overrunning clutch isn't working. Has anyone repaired one of these for less money than you can get a rebuilt for? Case IH wants about $400 just for the ramp assy. Is there a cheaper source? Do the rollers typically wear the cage too? Would you replace bearings and oil seals while it's torn apart? Are there any of the special tools that you really need to do a rebuild yourself? Of course I'm just speculating because it's still in the tractor. Just wondering what I'm looking at in $ and time.
