plans for installing hour meter on Farmall H...

I will be using above switch and hour meter to maintain accurate maintenance and usage records of my 42 Farmall H that I am rebuilding right now. I will wire the normally + terminal to ground, one terminal to the mag, and the other terminal to the negative lead on the hour meter. This is a SPDT switch, basically has one input wire and 2 outputs, only one output functions at a time so when the switch will be down it will be grounding the mag and no ground to hourmeter, switch up it will ground the hourmeter and unground the mag. I will also order a rubber cover for the toggle switch to make it waterproof. I believe this should work well. For those that are interested, the hourmeter (waterproof, works on 4 to 40 volts) is $25.99 plus shipping from JCWhitney, and the switch and rubber cover are a couple bucks from Parts Express. Hopefully this will help someone out.Steven
