I am rebuilding my 53 Super A and I have a couple of questions about the generator. I have it off the tractor and it appears to be in resonable shape (paints peeling, a bit rusty, but nothing major). As I took it off I noticed there was some play in the bearing at the pulley end, is this normal? How much play is acceptable? I am planning to take it apart and clean/inspect it before repainting it. What should I look for/be carefull of/replace? Any other things I should be aware of? Thanks in advance. SAm in NS
