Hi Red, Ive been looking around for a resister for quite a while now myself as I also have an "A" that Ive been working on. Luckily the resister coil is OK and dont need one for it. The I&T book said that the generator needed to be polorized any time the battery was unhooked. My first car (Still have it) is a 1953 Ford and I never once had to polorize the generator in it. Musta been a fluke on the "H" why I had to polorize it to get it going. Will it hurt the battery to leave it on hi charge all the time? Thanks for your responce. Steve T
