There are casting codes an all major components, such as axles, engine block and so on. They will read like this 3-21-Z or something of that nature. Each year used a different letter. It is on a small tag riveted to each part. So when you find that post it and someone can tell you what year it is. You might look on the right frame rail for the serial number.
