I was brushhogging with my 1066 last weekend using one remote to raise and lower it. Using the one with lever farthest from the seat. Everything works ok with no leaks but when you move the lever to raise or lower, it is hard (actually makes a snapping sound) to return the lever to the neutral position. Once the cylinder is at the end of its stroke, either direction, it automatically returns to neutral like it is supposed to. I'm thinking the detent balls in the valve assembly have a groove worn somewhere or something. I know I'm not the first one with this but couldn't find anything in the archives. Anybody had this and fixed it? How and what was wrong and what did you do to repair. Tractor Vet?
