Mike, I really agree with CNKS's posts below but have seen your posts on your tractor in the past and it seems like cost is a concern in it's redo. I didn't want to add another manual to your purchase requirements in my earlier post but the I&T shop manual would be a great supplement. You will want the one labeled "IH-8" which covers all the letter series Farmalls. It will not go into the specific detail of an IH service manual for a specific model but is a great overall supplement. It sort of starts at the point which expects some skill and knowledge from the person doing the work. I purchased mine new for about $20 or slightly more at a farm and home store. You will find both to be very handy and from your photos you have a lot to do to get to where you have indicated you want to end up. I have a couple of Blue Ribbon Service Manuals and find them very detailed with what they cover. Good luck and keep the photos and questions coming, Hal.
