Super A Hyd. Pump

Last summer I replaced the hyd. pump on my SA.
It works great but I noticed That when you raise
the front or back up all the way, the motor loads
up and the pump whines. You can pull the levers back just a little and it stops. Is this a common thing for a rebuilt pump? Will this hurt anything to use it as is. As for raising the front or back cultivators, it works better than it ever has since I have owned the tractor. Anybody had this problem before?
