I need more 'technical' advice! I am still bringing my parts together for the "M" overhaul & thanks to you guys have located several heads (Even some close-by!!) and a sleeve puller. My next question is regarding camshafts - Is there a better IH-built alternative to the stock "M" camshaft (i.e. 400-450?) - If I have one re-ground, should I use my "M" shaft, or opt for something else as a 'base'. (Firecraters & gasoline / 450 head) Also - a friend said that the M&W governor is a better alternative to be certain that the throttle butterfly is w/o when needed - Where can a guy find one in good shape? If you know, feel free to e-mail - it worked great for the heads! (I know Denny's sells their 'mod' units, but I've had several of my pulling friends say that they're dissapointed in the mods/lack of adjustability) Thanks again - you guys are as great as the Deere boys!
